European Style Cultured Butter, 8oz, is an unsalted, specialty butter made in the age-old tradition of fine European butters. It has an exquisitely tart flavor and is 84 percent butterfat, perfect for flaky pastry. Organic Valley starts with organic milk from cows allowed to pasture freely, then adds a live culture to ripen the cream and bring out the sweetness of the butter. Upon reaching perfection in the culture tanks, the cream is churned in small batches for a longer time than other butters, lowering the moisture content and increasing the butterfat. European Style Culture Butter won first place in its category at the 2009 American Cheese Society Annual Judging & Competition.

Pasture Butter, 8oz, is a limited edition, lightly salted, rich butter made from the milk of organic cows that enjoy grazing on nutrient-rich green pastures at the height of grazing season from May through September. Pasture Butter provides higher levels of antioxidants, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), and Omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, which, according to the Healing Foods Pyramid from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, can help reduce inflammation and shows promise in reducing the risk for heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer.
