KitchenAid is introducing its most powerful, highest capacity stand mixer to date offering the largest bowl lift model available for home use, features a 7-quart stainless steel bowl and the most powerful motor KitchenAid has ever offered.

In addition to handling the stand mixer’s extra large capacity, its 1.3 horsepower DC motor is not only the most powerful KitchenAid has ever offered but also the quietest.  Engineering advances allow the motor to deliver more power to the bowl than previous models while using less energy and minimizing motor heat.

A new stainless steel 11-wire elliptical whip was designed to quickly incorporate the maximum amount of air for faster results when whipping ingredients such as egg whites and heavy cream, or when making frosting and mayonnaise.

The new 7-quart stand mixers will offer a two-year, full-replacement warranty and will be available beginning this fall at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $499.  The mixers will feature a premium two-coat finish available in Medallion Silver and Black Storm.

KitchenAid is debuting a new line of food processors that should convert even the most skeptical home cooks. As it has done with stand mixers, blenders and other countertop appliances, KitchenAid challenged its engineers to develop new features and capabilities that would deliver on the food processor’s revolutionary but largely unmet promise.

The new KitchenAid food processors utilize a newly designed cutting system together with variable speeds to provide extraordinary control of ingredients and food preparation.  Just as radically, the highest end models are the first to incorporate an external blade control that allows cooks to raise and lower blades with the simple shift of a lever.

The food processor’s blades can be variably adjusted from thin to thick, and speeds are adjustable to three settings, allowing cooks to slice everything from softer vegetables using the slower speed to harder foods using the higher speed.

The new models also feature a double “bowl-within-a-bowl” design, which allows for performing different tasks without cleaning bowls between jobs. All include leak-resistant, BPA-free bowls and dishwasher safe parts.

The new food processors will be available starting in summer in 7-, 9- and 13-cup models, carrying suggested manufacturer’s retail prices ranging from $99.99 to $249.99.    Colors will include White, Onyx Black, Empire Red, Brushed Chrome and Contour Silver.

The new KitchenAid 6-quart Slow Cooker allows cooks to quickly assemble a few simple ingredients, set a single control, walk away for hours and return to the kind of deeply flavorful, comforting dish that only slow cooking can produce.

The new KitchenAid slow cookers will carry suggested manufacturer’s retail prices of $99.99 for a traditional lidded version and $129 for a model with a center-hinged, flip-open lid, both in stainless steel.  The model with the innovative flip-open lid makes it ideal for parties and self-serve buffets. It can be opened from either side, allowing dishes to be served without removing and finding space for the lid, while minimizing heat loss and keeping favorite dishes warm for service.

Both models feature a digital display and attractive, Black Onyx ceramic insert designed to go from the slow cooker to the table.  The 6-quart oval vessel can easily accommodate most any recipe, from chili for a crowd to whole roasts.  Both models also utilize a 400-watt heating element to quickly heat food to USDA-recommended temperatures, combined with an advanced temperature management system that helps keep food moist and tender.

The High setting is ideal for soups or sauce reductions.  Medium provides the perfect mid-range temperature for cooking most foods in six to eight hours.  The Low setting is optimal for longer cooking times and tender results.

And finally, the Keep Warm setting holds at optimal temperatures, ensuring that food is ready when family, friends and guests are.  Other thoughtful features include 24-hour programmability and convenient cord storage.

With the introduction of its first electric water kettle, KitchenAid is offering a convenient consumer solution for keeping track of both the water temperature and the water level even when the kettle is removed from the base.

The new KitchenAid Artisan Water Kettle has modern electronic water level and temperature indicators on the kettle.  In addition to its easy to read blue-lit water level window and temperature indicator, the kettle features an electronic temperature setting with variable settings and an audible alert when the desired temperature has been reached.

The powerful KitchenAid Artisan kettle can quickly bring water up to its boiling temperature with the Quick Boil setting.  Additional features include a 30-minute keep warm setting for continuous available warm water and an audible indicator when there is too little or too much water in the kettle.

A convenient hinged lid with a wide opening is simple to fill and clean while a removable scale filter is easily removed for cleaning.   Other user-friendly features include a soft grip handle for easy gripping and minimal slippage along with a 360-degree kettle rotation on the base for easy replacement of the kettle back to the base from any angle.

Available beginning late summer in brushed stainless steel, the KitchenAid Artisan Electric Kettle will be available at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $99.99.
